In this chapter, my partner Taryn and I surveyed people from every class in our school to find the distribution of how many swimsuits each person owned on average. Our goal was to find a data set with a fairly normal distribution, which means that the highest frequency of the number of swimsuits was concentrated around the mean, and 99% of our data was contained within 3 standard deviations. We then calculated problems such as the probabilities of someone having more than 2 or less than 10 swimsuits.
